Embassy Launches Punjab Land Record Services
in UAE to Facilitate Overseas Pakistanis

Embassy of Pakistan in Abu Dhabi and the consulate general in Dubai on Tuesday launched Punjab Land Record Services in the UAE, marking an important step towards facilitating overseas Pakistanis in accessing land and property-related services in Punjab.
The services have been introduced in collaboration with the Punjab Land Records Authority (PLRA) and are now available through both the embassy and the consulate general, a press release from the embassy stated on Wednesday.
Following the launch of the initiative, both the missions have commenced the issuance of Fards (land ownership records). The missions are pleased to announce the issuance of Fards, demonstrating the operationalization of the newly introduced facility.
The initiative will enable Pakistani nationals residing in the UAE to access essential land-record and property-related services in Punjab without the need to travel to Pakistan. It represents a significant step towards providing convenient, transparent and efficient services to overseas Pakistanis and bringing essential government facilities closer to the community, the statement noted.
The introduction of PLRA services in the UAE is part of the Government of Pakistan’s broader efforts to enhance digital facilitation and improve access to public services for overseas Pakistanis.
