Pakistani Student at Moscow University
Reportedly Missing Since March 22

The family of a young man from Sanghar district in Sindh, who has reportedly been missing in Russia since March 22, 2026, has sought help of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan embassy in Moscow to trace the student.
Columnist Mushtaq Rajpar in his post on X said; “A young man from Shahpur Chakar [Sanghar] , Shah Nawaz Rakhshani, has mysteriously gone missing. According to the family, Shah Nawaz had been studying at Moscow University since last year; however, he has had no contact with his family since March 22.”
The columnist further said; “The family says that Shah Nawaz’s mobile number has been continuously switched off, which is causing increasing concern. The family is in severe mental distress over Shah Nawaz’s mysterious disappearance and has demanded that the Prime Minister of Pakistan take immediate notice and take steps for the young man’s recovery.”
