Gets Promoted to Inspector in NYPD

Muhammad Jehangir Ashraf, Pakistan-American Deputy Inspector with New York Police Depart (NYPD), was recently promoted to the rank of inspector in the force.
In a post on X, Adeel Rana, prominent Pakistani law enforcers with NYPD, said; “Congratulations to my good friend, brother, and, above all, a true friend to the community, Muhammad Jehangir Ashraf, on your well-deserved promotion to NYPD Inspector!”
He added; “It was a truly special and emotional honor to have the privilege of pinning your Inspector’s shield, surrounded by your loving family, friends, and colleagues.”
Inspector Rana added; “This promotion is a testament to your unwavering dedication, outstanding leadership, and years of selfless service to the people of New York City. It is a proud moment not only for you and your family, but for everyone who has had the privilege of knowing and working alongside you.”
