Pakistani community in Canberra, in collaboration with the high commission for Pakistan, successfully hosted the Pakistan Mango and Multicultural Festival 2026 at Thoroughbred Park recently

In a statement, the high commission said, “The event, which was part of Pakistani mango festivals in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Perth, attracted more than 20,000 visitors from Canberra and adjoining areas.”

The festival was officially inaugurated by Suzanne Orr, ACT (Australian Capital Territory) minister for Community Services & Multiculturalism, and Irfan Shaukat, high commissioner of Pakistan. ACT Minister Orr commended the Mango Festival organizers for successfully organizing such a significant community event. She acknowledged the valuable contributions of the Pakistani diaspora to Canberra’s multicultural society.
