Pakistan Envoy Meets Djibouti Family Affairs
Minister, Discusses Women Empowerment

Aqsa Nawaz, ambassador of Pakistan to Djibouti, recently met with Hana Farah Assoweh, minister of Women and Family Affairs at her office in Djibouti.
They discussed strategies of women empowerment and fostering bilateral cooperation in the area by learning through best practices, bilateral exchanges, and arranging technical training and capacity building programs for women.
Ambassador Nawaz also welcomed Djibouti’s delegation who will be departing for Islamabad during the current week to participate in the 9th OIC Conference on Women to be hosted by Pakistan on July 12 and 13 2026.
