Pakistan Envoy Hosts Iranian Health

Imran Ahmad Siddiqui, ambassador of Pakistan to Iran, recently hosted a dinner reception attended by a group of prominent managers and activists in Iran’s health tourism sector, as well as representatives from hospitals.
In an X post, the embassy said that during the meeting, strategies for developing cooperation between Pakistan and Iran in the fields of health and medical tourism were discussed and examined.
The participants in the meeting addressed topics including medical tourism, establishing and strengthening direct communications and collaborations between hospitals, exchanging knowledge and expertise, facilitating matters related to patients, and developing partnerships between the public and private sectors.
The attendees, while reiterating their commitment to expanding bilateral cooperation in the health and treatment sector, emphasized the necessity of strengthening and developing relations between the two countries in the health sector.
In a later development, Persian language and culture scholars also met with the Pakistani ambassador to discuss the rich cultural linkages between Pakistan and Iran and explore ways to further strengthen and promote the enduring bonds.
