Parliamentary Ties with Pakistan

House of Deputies of Mexico recently organized the conclusion of the first session of the Pakistan–Mexico Friendship Group, reaffirming further commitment to strengthening parliamentary ties between the two countries.
Gissel Santander Soto, president of Pakistan-Mexico Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group, extended a warm welcome to Shozab Abbas, ambassador of Pakistan to Mexico. The ambassador reiterated the commitment to further strengthening friendly relations between the two countries through sustained diplomatic and parliamentary engagement, stated a press release issued by Pakistan embassy in Mexico.
Ambassador held a meeting with Kenia López Rabadán, president of Chamber of Deputies and exchanged views on deepening bilateral ties and fostering closer engagement between the legislative institutions of Pakistan and Mexico.
