LPA Members Participate in Won Nyaci
Run in Lira to Support Disable Persons

Muhammad Ateeq Nawaz, president of Lira Pakistan Association (LPA), Lira City, Uganda, together with team members recently participated in the Won Nyaci Run 2026, an important initiative aimed at raising funds to support persons with disabilities by providing essential items such as wheelchairs.
In a social media post, Ateeq Nawaz said, “On behalf of Lira Pakistan Association, I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to the organizing committee for arranging such a wonderful and meaningful event. Your commitment to promoting inclusion, compassion, and support for persons with disabilities is truly commendable.”
He further said, “I also extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Pakistani community in Lira and the surrounding areas for your continued support, cooperation, and participation in community activities. Your solidarity and generosity are always appreciated.”
The community leader added, “Together, we can make a positive difference in the lives of those who need our support and contribute to building a more inclusive and compassionate society.”
