Envoy Lauds Pakistani Community
in Stavanger for Bridge Building Role

Asim Ali Khan, ambassador of Pakistan to Norway, and Saleem Khan, deputy head of mission, recently attended a community meeting in Stavanger, on the sidelines of the ONS Conference.
Prominent Community members representing difference segments of society including oil and gas, IT professionals and businessmen briefed the ambassador about the community’s efforts to represent Pakistan’s soft image and investment potential in Stavanger.
The ambassador appreciated their inputs and urged the community to continue with their bridge-building role between Pakistan and Norway. Ambassador Asim also briefed the audience on the embassy’s proactive approach in provision of consular services to the community and shared with them that the embassy is a second home for Pakistanis based across Norway.
The embassy continues its public and economic diplomacy efforts in partnership with Pakistani-Norwegian community.
