Embassy with Ankara University Holds Event on
Pakistan, Turkiye Ties since Khilafat Movement

Pakistan embassy in collaboration with Ankara Üniversitesi recently organized an event titled ‘Pakistan Türkiye Relations: Cultural Interaction from Khilafat Movement to Present Day.’
In a post on X, the embassy said that the event highlighted the deep-rooted historical, cultural and people-to-people ties between Pakistan and Türkiye through insightful discussions and vibrant cultural performances by Pakistani students.
Dr Yousaf Junaid, ambassador of Pakistan to Turkiye, Turkish Parliamentarians namely; Ali Şahin and Burhan Kayatürk alongside distinguished academics from Ankara University, participated in the event celebrating the enduring friendship between Pakistan and Türkiye.
The program featured poetry recitations, Qawwali, cultural displays, traditional cultural performances by Pakistani students, and a selection of authentic Pakistani cuisine.
