Pakistan–US Tech Connect 2026 was recently launched at the University of California, Berkeley, in Silicon Valley. The inaugural event was jointly organized by consulate general of Pakistan, Los Angeles; the embassy of Pakistan, Washington, D.C.; and Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB). It marks the first in a series of engagements planned across other US cities in the coming days.
In a press statement, the consulate said that the event brought together 16 leading Pakistani technology companies and senior representatives of major US technology firms, including Tesla, Microsoft, Google, Apple and Oracle. It provided a high-level platform to explore strategic partnerships, investment opportunities, market access and technology collaboration, with a view to expanding Pakistan’s IT exports and strengthening commercial ties between Pakistan’s technology sector and the U.S. industry.
