Bahrain Extends Visit Visa for One
Month without Fine for Overstay

Pakistan Embassy in Bahrain in a recent –press release informed the Pakistani community that Bahrain’s Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) has announced temporary measures concerning visit visas due to the current circumstances and the cancellation or suspension of several flights.
According to the announcement, holders of visit visas currently inside Bahrain, whose permitted stay expired on or after 28 February 2026, will be exempted from fines for overstaying. The exemption will remain valid for one month after the reopening of Bahrain’s airspace.
Visit visas that were valid as of February 28, 2026 will be extended by three months for visitors outside Bahrain who had obtained visas before that date but were unable to travel due to the current circumstances.
The embassy said that the members of the Pakistani community who may be affected are advised to follow official updates issued by the Bahraini authorities.
