Pakistani film ‘Ghost School’ was also recently premiered at the 76th Berlin International Film Festival.
In an X post, Pakistan embassy in Germany noted; “Another Pakistani film, “Ghost School,” was also premiered at the 76th Berlinale. A film by Seemab Gul showcases the efforts of a young village schoolgirl to pursue her dream of education.”
Ghost School (2025) is a critically acclaimed Pakistani drama also premiering at Toronto International Film Festival. The 88-minute film follows 10-year-old Rabia (Nazualiya Arsalan) as she investigates the sudden closure of her village school, revealing a story of corruption, rural superstition, and the struggle for girls’ education.
