Ambassador visits Pakistan
Pavilion at Dakar International Fair

Saima Maymunah Sayed, ambassador of Pakistan to Senegal, recently visited Pakistan Pavilion at the Dakar International Fair (FIDAK – Foire Internationale de Dakar).
Appreciating the trade and investment attaché and Embassy of Pakistan, the ambassador in a post on X said that Pakistan regularly participated in FIDAK and was the Country of Honor in 2021. She said; “Visited Pakistani stalls and also enjoyed interacting with Senegalese entrepreneurs.”
The FIDAK is a major West African trade event held at a distinctive triangular-themed exhibition center near Dakar, Senegal, showcasing diverse sectors like agriculture, textiles, tech, and energy, attracting international participation and focusing on business networking and regional development. The current event is the 33rd edition of the festival, highlighting innovation and post-colonial African identity.
