HC Facilitates Lions Club New Office Bearers,
Discusses Cornea Donations in Mauritius

President of Lions Club Curepipe Shalonee Gunness, Treasurer Shweta Mungur and former President Dr Ameenah Sorefan recently called on Zahid Raza, high commissioner (HC) of Pakistan to Mauritius.
The high commissioner congratulated Shalonee for assuming the charge of the club for year 2025-2026. The team briefed about the activities of the Lions Club and their forthcoming programs.
For 16 years, the club has been arranging corneas for the eye surgeries conducted by the team of ophthalmologists from Pakistan. The surgeons from Pakistan will be visiting Mauritius in last week of July.
