Association of Pakistani Descent Physicians of North America (APPNA) recently joined hands with American Red Cross (AMC) and began collaboration to strengthen disaster health response.
In an update on X, APPNA Medical Corps said; “Our first Zoom meeting was a great start to future initiatives including a national webinar, collaboration at the July 4th Orlando meeting, and coordinated disaster response efforts.”
The two sides agreed that a national webinar will be organized to introduce APPNA and ARC’s work together for health services to APPNA members. ARC will present at APPNA’s July 4th Orlando meeting disaster health relief highlights. For large-scale disasters, ARC will coordinate with APPNA to connect physicians with local public health authorities.
APPNA Medical Corps stands ready to support disaster response efforts nationwide while fully respecting all licensing regulations.
