Cricket team of diplomats recently beat parliament team in a friendly match in Wellington with a Pakistan player batting brilliantly.
In an X post, Pakistan High Commission said; “Yearly Parliament Vs Diplomats 25-over cricket match ended with a long-awaited victory for the Diplomats. [High Commmission]’s very own Sajjad Ali Haider, an opening batsman for the Diplomats Team scored 50 not out. Well done Team Diplomats! Kudos to [New Zealand parliament] for keeping the tradition and the spirit of cricket alive.”
