Pakistan Envoy Visits Vocational College in
Hangzhou, Seeks Skills Training Cooperation

Khalil Hashmi, ambassador of Pakistan to China, recently visited a vocational college of science and technology in Hangzhou and explored further opportunities of cooperation in skill development and training.
In a post on X, the ambassador said; “I visited Zhejiang Tongji Vocational College of Science & Technology in Hangzhou and met Zhang Yong, Party Committee Secretary.”
The envoy added that he was impressed by the college’s excellence in vocational education, industry-education integration, and strengths in water conservancy and hydropower.
The ambassador also discussed deepening Pakistan and China cooperation in skills training, hydropower operation and maintenance, joint labs, talent development, sharing of resources and harmonization of technical standards under the existing platform of China- Pakistan Belt and Road Joint Lab on hydropower technology.
