Overseas Kashmiris Convention Focuses

on Business Activities, Jobs in AJK

Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Faisal Mumtaz Rathore in a statement has called the overseas Kashmiris a valuable asset to the state saying their contribution to boosting the local economy was always highly significant.

On the occasion of the Overseas Kashmiris Convention in Muzaffarabad, the prime minister said that the Kashmiris living abroad always played an important role in the region’s progress. He said that the purpose of the convention was to engage the community in development activities, utilize their experience, and generate investment opportunities.

The convention is being organized on February 16, 2026 (today) in collaboration with the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation

It is worth mentioning here that the convention would feature panel discussions and policy dialogues in which representatives from various sectors will deliberate on issues faced by overseas Kashmiris.
