OPF Takes up Issues of Pakistanis in
Spain with Authorities in Islamabad

Syed Qamar Raza, chairman Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF), and Mohammed Afzaal Bhatti, managing director (MD) OPF, recently held meetings in Islamabad with the federal minister for Law, Justice & Human Rights, secretary Ministry of Interior, and chairman NADRA to seek their assistance in resolving certain issues being faced by the Pakistani community in Spain.
The OPF chief took up the issuance of character certificates, apostille attestation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and connected problems, nationality and exploitation by courier companies, agents designated for such documents etc.
The OPF team also took up the matter of inordinate delays in the appointment of family reunion and work visas by the Spanish embassy in Islamabad with the secretary Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development.
The OPF heads hoped that the concerted efforts would soon yield positive results and bring good news for the Pakistani community in Spain, making the overall process easier and faster.
