Pakistan Multicultural Association (PMA) Australia executive team recently had the honor of meeting with Chief Minister of Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Andrew Barr, who recognized the outstanding success of Mango Mela 2026.
In a social media post, the association said that Mango Mela was a true multicultural celebration. It brought communities from all backgrounds together to share mangoes, food, culture and connection. The event also welcomed visitors to Canberra, supported local tourism, and helped the ACT economy by backing local businesses and hospitality.
“This recognition belongs to everyone who made it happen: our sponsors, volunteers, stallholders, performers, community partners and every person who came along. This is only the beginning. More exciting initiatives are coming,” the association noted in the statement.
