Embassy Hosts ‘Colours of
Pakistan’ Art Exhibition in Qatar

Embassy of Pakistan in Doha recently hosted a painting exhibition titled ‘Colours of Pakistan: Dastan-e-Watan’ at the embassy premises, showcasing the artistic talents of the Pakistani diaspora living in Qatar.
The exhibition was formally inaugurated by Muhammad Aamer, ambassador of Pakistan to Qatar. The event drew a distinguished gathering of members of the diplomatic corps, art enthusiasts, and prominent community leaders, said the embassy in a press release.
Speaking at the inauguration, Ambassador Aamer praised the participating artists for capturing Pakistan’s rich cultural tapestry, scenic landscapes, and historic heritage through their work. He emphasized that art serves as a vital bridge connecting overseas Pakistanis with their homeland while simultaneously fostering cultural exchange and mutual understanding with the international community in Qatar.
The exhibition featured works by Qatar-based Pakistani artists, including Adnan Siraj, Shehla Khalid Khan, Muznah Hasnat, Shadia Zaheer, and Gohar Arslan. The artists presented a wide array of techniques and thematic depths, offering visitors a visual journey through historic landmarks, serene landscapes, and traditional miniature paintings. The collection earned wide praise from the attending guests.
The event concluded with a guided walkthrough of the gallery. Members of the diplomatic community and diaspora leaders interacted directly with the featured artists, celebrating the creative talent present within the expatriate community.
