Tipu Usman, high commissioner (HC) of Pakistan to the United Kingdom, recently presented a shield of appreciation to Kashif Chauhan, chairman of Association of Pakistani Physicians and Surgeons of Europe (APPSE), in recognition of efforts aimed at supporting doctors and professionals and strengthening people-to-people ties between Pakistan and the UK.
In a social media post, Chauhan described the recognition as an encouragement to continue working for the Pakistani community and creating opportunities for medical professionals.
Over the years, the community leader has focused on initiatives intended to build bridges between Pakistan and the UK, support members of the medical and professional communities, and contribute to stronger bilateral links at the community level.
The recipient said the recognition represented not only an honour but also a motivation to pursue further initiatives with greater commitment.
Kashif Chauhan reaffirmed a commitment to expanding community-focused initiatives and creating further opportunities for professionals, particularly those seeking to build stronger links between Pakistan and the UK.
