Pak-Prism Report | Published Sept 7, 2026

In connection with observance of 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal – Eid Milad-un-Nab (PBUH), Pakistan embassy in Doha recently organized a soulful ‘Tamsseeli Naatiya Mushaira’, drawing members of the local Pakistani diaspora, prominent community figures, and Urdu literature enthusiasts.

The event featured local Qatar-based poets who presented poetic tributes by re-enacting and reciting the Naats of renowned and legendary Urdu poets. The recitations highlighted themes of peace, mercy, divine love, and the universal teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), stated the embassy in a press release.

The gathering was presided over by senior literary personality Syed Muhammad Yaqoob, while Dr. Faisal Hanif, chairman of Bazm-e-Urdu Qatar and founder of Iqbal Academy Middle East, served as the master of ceremonies.

Delivering the concluding remarks, Muhammad Aamer, ambassador of Pakistan to Qatar, emphasized that the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) provides eternal guidance for addressing contemporary challenges with morality, compassion, and justice. He added that expressing spiritual devotion through poetry helps preserve cultural heritage and strengthens community bonds.

The evening concluded with prayers offered for the peace, solidarity, and prosperity of Pakistan, as well as the progress and well-being of Qatar.
