PAN Canberra Takes Parts in Celebrations
of 150th Birth Anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam

Pakistan High Commission Australia on Sunday organized a very special celebration commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Canberra, Australia.
Pakistan Australia Network Canberra (PAN Canberra) was also part of the memorable occasion, which was beautifully dedicated to youth and children, the network said in a social media post.
Young students from ACT Urdu School participated enthusiastically in painting, speech and essay competitions, showcasing their creativity, knowledge and love for Pakistan.
Mr Irfan Shaukat, high commissioner of Pakistan to Australia, and Tanveer Khan, president ACT Urdu School, distributed certificates and prizes to the talented competition winners, recognizing the efforts and achievements of the young participants.
PAN Canberra’s Sujahir Malik proudly hosted a special Quaid-e-Azam quiz for children, making the celebration both educational and engaging. Special food vouchers were also distributed to the participating children, generously sponsored by Nash & Smashed – Australia (PAN business member).
Deputy High commissioner Faiza Haseeb and Counsellor Yawar Abbas acknowledged PAN Canberra team for their continuous support to the high commission.
One of the most touching moments of the event was a heartfelt rendition of the national anthem on Rubab, beautifully performed by young Pakistani-Australian Ayyan. It was a truly proud and emotional moment for everyone present.
